Pregame Show

Since this is the Super Bowl of my poker experience, I thought I would start the pregame 5 hours early.

I did not play any poker on Friday. The limits were too high or the wait too long. Yesterday I lost $323 in a 1-2 NL game at the Venetian.

Some of the loss was bad luck as I ran top pair into trips 3 different times. Then there was some bad play as I tried to rep a made flush when I really had middle pair and open end straight draw. My opponent had the nut flush. Oops!

After poker the wife and I had a great dinner at Delmomicos in the Venetian. I can't say enough good things about the chateaubriand.

I'm ready for today. I'll try to give quick updates during the breaks every two hours.
